§ 3. Cookies
Cookies identify the User, which allows the content of the website they are using to be tailored to their needs. By remembering their preferences, it enables the content directed at them, including advertisements, to be appropriately matched. The Owner uses Cookies to guarantee an appropriate level of Website comfort, and the collected data is used only within the company to optimise its operations.
Cookies are used for the purpose of:
- adapting the content of the Website to the User's preferences;
- optimising the use of the Website, in particular by recognising the User's end device;
- creating statistics;
- maintaining the User's session;
- delivering advertising content to the User.
Cookies may be placed on the User's end device.
The collected data is used to monitor and check how Users use the Website, in order to improve the Website's functioning and ensure more effective and trouble-free navigation.
It should be remembered that in some cases, independent of the Owner, software installed by the User on the end device used for browsing websites (e.g. a web browser) introduces the default storage of Cookies on the User's end device. Users may change their Cookie settings at any time. These settings may be changed, among other things, in such a way as to block the automatic setting of Cookies or to inform about their placement on the User's end device each time. Detailed information in this regard is available in the settings and instructions relating to the software (web browser).
The User has the option at any time to disable or restore the option of collecting cookies by changing the settings in the web browser.
Changing the settings constitutes an expression of objection, which may cause difficulties in using the Website in the future. Completely disabling the option to accept Cookies will not mean an inability to browse the content posted on the Website, with the exception of that to which access requires logging in.
Failure to change the settings means that data will be placed on the User's end device (using the Website will result in Cookies being automatically placed on the User's end device).
Data stored on the User's end device does not cause configuration changes on the User's end device or in software installed on that device.
Information regarding Cookies also applies to other similar technologies used within the Website.
